NIGHTLIFE - Cabo San Lucas 2008

Cabo San Lucas Cabo San Lucas Cabo Wabo San Lucas Cabo San Lucas Cabo San Lucas

When it comes to spring break, Cabo San Lucas has some of the hottest night life in the western hemisphere. The entire bar scene is packed into a strip of about four square blocks making it easy to cruise from club to club. And unlike some other areas of Mexico where cover charges have gotten out of control, the clubs in Cabo San Lucas rarely charge covers and when they are reasonable in the $2 to $5 range. The most popular night spots include Squid Roe, Cabo Wabo, Carlos and Charlie's and The Giggling Marlin.

  • Squid Roe: Far and away, Cabo's most popular dance club. This super hot spot is located around the corner from the Best Western Las Flores Hotel in Downtown Cabo San Lucas. Squid Roe typically stays open well after all the other clubs have closed down and its location makes it an easy crawl home for our Best Western guests.

  • Carlos and Charlie's: One of Mexico's most popular bar and restaurant chains. The Cabo version is located along the main bar path between Squid Roe and the Giggling Marlin. Carlos and Charlie's is always worth a look during spring break.

  • Cabo Wabo: This hot spot owned by Sammy Hagar is one of Cabo San Lucas's more popular hangouts for food and entertainment. The music here is typically a little more on the rock side and live music is a regular occurrence. Cabo Wabo is also famous for it's namesake tequila which has recently become popular in the United States.

  • The Giggling Marlin: By far the most entertaining waiters and bartenders anywhere in Cabo San Lucas. Less clubby than Cabo Wabo or Squid Roe, but definitely a fun place to hang out. Like the others, The Giggling Marlin is just a short walk to Mexico Spring Break's primary hotels.
